This week’s blog is focusing on affordable but comfy riding clothes. Now over the years I have been through many brands, loved some, hated some, and some are just ok. Today I’m talking about a brand that is Australian made and proceeds go to Recycled Racehorse Foundation,a a foundation that’s based down in ACT Canberra, that rehomes OTTB after racing.
This company is Empire Equestrian, created by Chynna Marston who has been riding all her life, and understands what’s needed in having durable riding clothes both on and off the horse. Chynna also wanted everyone to have cool and colourful patterns to express themselves.
I have been wearing the Empire Band these past few months and this is what I have found and love:
• They are a lightweight material in both summer and winter designs
• The patterns and designs are crazy cool
• Colour and sizes don’t change after washing multiple times
• Quick dry time after washing
• They are affordable
• The communication & shipping is good
• They make awesome gym wear
• Their website is easy to navigate and use (even my older relatives could understand what was being displayed and clearly select what they wanted to look at)
I have found with Empire Equestrian and following their social media they support all people from all walks of life, whether they be top level competitors – to low level amateurs, even para equestrian riders, or even people that just like to ride. Personally I think this shows their commitment to their brand and that they care about the people that are buying their clothes.
